Single Bed in Dormitory( Shared Room) -Rs 299/-Per Guest/Per Booking ( It is Refundable at Checkout) 

However,

Security Deposit can be Charged against :

1)Over Dues, ( as per Actual )
2)Property Damage, (As per Retail Price of property damaged or Repair cost as per Host's Opinion)
3)Rule violations -Rs 100/ Instance
4)Misconduct or Bad Behaviour. - Full amount of Security Deposit

  2. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

  3. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

  4. In accordance with government guidelines to minimize transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this property currently isn't accepting guests from certain countries on dates where such guidelines exist.

  5. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at this property.

  6. Food and beverage services at this property may be limited or unavailable due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

  7. In accordance with government guidelines to minimize transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this property can only accept bookings from essential workers/permitted travelers on dates where such guidelines exist. Reasonable evidence must be provided on arrival. If it isn't provided, your booking will be canceled on arrival.

  16. Before Check-in make sure u've Arogya Setu App,Govt.issued id,S.Dep.299/guest(UPI Apps.),Body temp.<99.1 F,. ( See Security deposit Related Guidelines Above.)

  17. Check e-mail/whatsapp/ Sms.for Further information for your stay.

  18. Before you book kindly confirm: At Host descretion a Rapid Antigen Test at your cost. Will be done before checkin at the front desk of homestay under cctv surveillance.all communication on cell phone before that time( To maintain social distancing). This is for our guests good experience and well being

 

 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  1. The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to be able to check into the HomeStay.  

  2. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the HomeStay. 

The identification proofs accepted are:

  • Aadhar Card,

  • Driving License,

  • Voter ID Card, and

  • Passport. 

Important Note: Without Original copy of valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check-in.
 

  1. PAN card is not accepted as a valid ID card.  

  2. Stay of 1 child up to 5 years of age is complementary without the use of extra mattress. Breakfast charges may be applicable for the child.  

  3. Extra Single Bed/Folding Bed will be provided for triple occupancy bookings. 

  4. Pets are not allowed in the HomeStay premises.  

  5. Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the HomeStay, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the HomeStay, the HomeStay reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest.  (Penal Charges would be Full Amount of Security Deposit and Next Day Check Out Without Refund)

  6. There  may be different policies for specific times during the year. 

  7. Guests shall be liable for any damage, except normal wear and tear to HomeStay assets. Guest shall keep the HomeStay room in a good condition and maintain hygiene and cleanliness.  ((As per Retail Price of property damaged or Repair cost as per Host's Opinion)

  8. Certain policies are booking specific and are informed to the customer while making the booking.  

  9. No Smoking/No Drinking/No Drugs Policy for Best HomeStay: We really take pride in keeping all our rooms fresh and clean, and discourage smoking in the rooms.( Penal Charges Rs. 100/ Instance)

  10. Guests may be contacted closer to their check-in date to confirm the arrival status or arrival time through calls or messages. In case, we do not receive a response from the guest after multiple attempts, the booking may be put on hold or cancelled. In case of availability, Best HomeStay will try to reinstate your booking when you contact us back or make a payment through our multitude of payment options  

  11. No Weapon/Knifes/Contraband/Explosive/Inflammable Substance Allowed in Homestay Premises.(If found -Immidiate explusion from Homestay Premises without Refund and  Full Security Deposit Charged)

  12. No Anti Social elements ,Fugitives from law, Criminals etc. allowed( Penal Charges would be  Immidiate explusion from Homestay Premises without Refund and  Full Security Deposit Charged)

House Keeping:

  1. Daily Cleaning of Dormitory.(Mandatory)(Once Per Day)

  2. Daily Cleaning of Pvt. Rooms on Demand.(Once per day)

  3. Free Bed Linnen Change (Once at Check-In and Then after 7 days) 

 

Additional Requirement-

  1. Summer/Winter-INR 100/Bed linnen Set (blanket+Bed Sheet+Pillow Cover)

  2. Quilt Extra @ INR-100 (Subject to Availiability)

  3. Hot Water Bottle for Warming Purposes-50/Day (Security Depoist Refundable-150/ Bottle.  (Subject to Availiability)

  4. Free Room  Heating Facility Availiable in Air Conditoned Pvt. Room Only.

 

Children and extra beds:

Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose. Please check the individual room capacity for more details.

Minimum age of guests is: 10year(s). and above ( allowed for Personal ,emergency situtation)

Stay for free if using existing bedding.

  1. Extension of stay would be provided on current room rates, subject to availability.  

  2. Current room rates can be different from the rates at which the rooms were booked. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancelling a Booking at BEST HOMESTAY is as fast and easy as booking one.

We would love to host you but in case your plans change, our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast refunds. Our standard check-in time is 1 noon (13:00 hrs.)  and you can check-in any time after that till your reservation is valid.

We do not charge cancellation fees for bookings cancelled within 4 Hours  of creating the same booking. Any amount paid will be refunded.

How to Cancel

PAYMENT POLICY

For bookings of more than 7 nights, guests have to settle all outstanding payments upfront. Homestay will be unable to provide further accommodation if no prior information is given and after  settlement of the outstanding amount upfront. The extension of stay is at the sole discretion of Homestay and subject to availability.

 

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT

Sunrise Check-in / Early Check-in Subject to Availability

Our standard check-in time is 1 noon (13:00 hrs.) However, Best Homestay provide check-in 6 AM onwards on check-in date. At a nominal charge amount (up to 30% of average tariff).   1. Homestay Doesn’t have long power backup facilities. So, power dependent amenties might be restricted due to power cut or Act of God or mechanical or electrical failures. However, Power situation in Chandigarh is very good and Power Cuts are a rare Phenomenon on which the Homestay has no Control. 

  2. In Best HomeStay unmarried/unrelated couples are allowed if they from out of station (out side of Tricity and periphery ) and are above 18 years of age and have valid Government issued photo ids as specified under GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (clause No.2) .Accommodation can be denied to guests if suitable proof of identification is not presented at the time of check-in and in such a case no. refund shall be admissible. The couple should on business or Tourism purpose having luggage . PROSTITUTION IF STRICTLY PROHIBITED. 

  3. Homestay Denies check-in to guests providing ID proof of the same city as the HomeStay itself.  

  4. HomeStay may  deny entry of visitors to rooms without Permission. Please confirm with the Homestay before inviting visitors into the rooms.
